Lots of times, you'll see a string of garbage with the modems first connect. Don't panic. Just press your <ENTER> key once or twice to help my modem determine the proper baud rate. And make sure you tell everyone in your house not to answer the phone! BUT . . If you don't recieve a call within about 30 seconds, please call back and try again. Hanging up now ... Click!£££
